Cute Little Ghost Bento

Only 3 days until Halloween! Are you ready? It's been so easy for me this year - my kids are all too old to trick-or-treat, and we aren't planning on having any parties this year. I have had a long, fulfilling 24 year career as a Halloween costume maker, and I have LOVED every minute of it - but I'm ready to just relax this year! Oh, I love Halloween - it's one of my favorite holidays. But it will be nice to have a quiet evening at home for a change 🙂

Todays bento was completely made up from leftovers, and 2 eggs. I had packets of asparagus already prepared in the fridge from my weekly food prep, and it was easy to put together the rest from purple carrots, regular carrots, and a slice of purple potato. I had rice in the fridge, so the only thing I had to cook was the eggs.

The ghost's face is made from nori, and his cheeks are dots of sriracha sauce. I heated up the whole thing in the microwave, and I'm eating it right now as I'm typing. It's good!

Here's what I used to make this lunch, and a great place to buy them: ( click on the pics for more info)
